Interim Executive / Fractional GM — Block 01 Hero
Interim Executive / Fractional GM — Retail Revolution Co

Sometimes a business needs a leader in the room, not a report on the desk.

Senior retail leadership, embedded in your business — owning outcomes, driving the team, and making decisions at pace. Available as an interim executive through a leadership gap, or as a fractional GM for businesses that need senior retail leadership without a full-time hire.

Day rate $1,800 · Minimum 2 days per week · Scoped and agreed before engagement begins

Interim Executive — Block 02 What It Is

Embedded senior leadership — not advisory from the outside

This is not a consulting engagement where someone reviews your business and hands you a report. This is senior retail leadership working inside your business — attending the meetings, making the calls, driving the team, and owning the outcomes agreed at the start.

The engagement is high intensity and high accountability. It's the right choice when your business needs a leader, not a recommendation.

Interim Executive

Stepping in to cover a leadership gap — a departure, a leave of absence, or a period where the business needs senior retail leadership while a permanent appointment is made. Full-time or near full-time availability for the duration of the engagement.

Fractional GM

Senior retail general management on a part-time basis — typically two to three days per week — for businesses that need the capability without the full-time cost. Works best for growing businesses that have outgrown owner-operator management but aren't ready for a full-time GM.

Turnaround Leadership

Embedded leadership for a retail business under pressure — declining performance, operational breakdown, or a crisis that needs senior experience and decisive action to resolve. Structured around a clear outcome and a defined timeline.

Interim Executive — Block 03 What You Get

Leadership that owns the outcome — not just the advice

The difference between this engagement and an advisory one is accountability. We are in the business, making decisions, driving results, and answerable for the outcomes we agreed at the start.

🎯

Agreed Outcomes

Clear outcomes defined and agreed at the start of the engagement — what success looks like, how it's measured, and the timeline for delivery.

👥

Team Leadership

Day-to-day leadership of your retail team — performance management, development, rostering decisions, and the operational standard-setting that comes from a senior leader being present.

📊

Trading & Financial Oversight

Active ownership of your trading performance — weekly review, course correction, and the financial decisions that keep the business on track against plan.

⚙️

Operational Management

Running the operation — supplier relationships, stock management, systems, compliance, and the day-to-day decisions that keep a retail business functioning at the right standard.

📋

Stakeholder Reporting

Regular reporting to owners, boards, or investors — trading updates, issue escalation, and a clear view of how the business is tracking against the agreed outcomes.

🔄

Transition Planning

Where applicable, building toward a permanent appointment — documenting processes, developing internal capability, and planning the handover so the business doesn't go backwards when the engagement ends.

This engagement is built on full accountability for agreed outcomes — not deliverables handed over and walked away from.

From first conversation to embedded leadership

Every engagement starts with a clear brief and agreed outcomes. What we won't do is start work without knowing exactly what we're there to achieve.

01

Discovery & Brief

A detailed conversation about the business, the situation, and what the engagement needs to deliver. We ask hard questions before agreeing to anything.

02

Outcomes & Terms

Agreed outcomes, engagement structure, days per week, reporting lines, and commercial terms — documented and signed before we start.

03

Embedded Delivery

In the business — leading, deciding, driving. Weekly updates to ownership or the board. Issues surfaced and resolved at pace, not escalated as problems.

04

Handover & Exit

A planned exit — whether to a permanent appointment, an internal promotion, or a reduced engagement model. The business is stronger at the end than it was at the start.
